Our train to Nagoya is arriving at the station.	En route we're passing huge tea plantations.	The fans are used to prevent freezing of the tea plants.	We're approaching our next stop on our journey: Mt. Fuji.
On the bus from Odawara to the Fuji-Hakone guesthouse.	Late afternoon ride on the cable car.	To get our first view of Fuji-san.	This is a two rope cable car.
And then we continue on a funicular.	Getting close to the meeting point of the two cars.	And then the two cars are passing each other.	The same tour on the next morning: we're starting in Togendai.
We're at the top station, and it is a little bit hazy.	Even Fuji-san is surrounded by a few clouds.	But it seems he's able to get rid of the clouds.	We made it to Fuji-san.
And then we took photos of each other.	With Fuji-san in the background.	With all the hot steam coming out of the ground, there's enough heat to cook a few eggs.	Did we already take a photo of us with Fuji-san?
Better be safe than sorry.	And then we enjoy the black eggs while they're still hot.	The hot steam also contains a lot of sulphur as you can see here.	We found the kids corner where you can dress as a cable car conductor.
Heading back to Togendai.	And then on board of one of the cruise ships.	To sail Lake Ashi.	The rising sun flag is flying in the wind.
Details of the ship's bow.	And our ship also has an impressive stern.	Our sister ship is departing first.	Hmmh, great ice cream: black sesame and grape.

That's a typical Japanese group photo.	Great view over Lake Ashi.	I would be happy if I could paint like that.	Fuji-san centered.
Peace Torii of the Hakone shrine.	Hakone shrine with Fuji-san.	This large torii marks the entrance to the town of Moto-Hakone.	A pretty crowded cruise ship is coming into the harbor.

It's Shichi-Go-San (7-5-3) time again.	This is the entrance to the main shrine.	Nice plaza at the shrine.	And then we have a surprise meeting on the cruise ship: our friends Fredy and Gisela.
Close to sunset Fuji-san creates a great atmosphere.	Nice evening setting on the cable car.	It's beautiful as well up here at Owakudani ridge.	Nice clouds up here as well in the sunset.
Enjoying a hot bath in the sulphurous spring water.	Nice mosaique at the train platform in Odawara.	We're waiting for the train to Shinjuku.	And here it comes.
